The big idea, a museum dedicated to the color wheel. An orange room, a scratch and sniff wall about color memory and scent, a blue room filled with balloon clouds, and so much more. All based on the simple premise of color, each room then built on that idea by playing up a single color. It sounds so simple, but the execution was well layered with graphics, textures, scents and interactivity.
It starts its second month in San Francisco’s Nob Hill this week and is already sold out. Hopefully, they will extend the run another month because I’d go back again just to see what I missed the first time around.
